To help every child develop fully

Volunteering at a community social pediatrics centre means enabling children to develop to their full potential. It also means being part of the child’s big protective circle. For example, becoming a Grand Ami and helping to establish a bond of trust with a child may mean sharing your professional experience with the team of professionals, taking part in Dr. Julien’s annual Guignolée or participating in team building activities with colleagues, etc. The centres across Quebec will be happy to welcome you!

Testimonials

Grands Amis

En cuisine avec les jeunes

“Operation Backpack” equips hundreds of children with a school bag filled with back-to-school supplies. In collaboration with CAP Saint-Barnabé and our major donors Optimum Group and JanSport, this exercise in solidarity initiated by Regroupement Partage is a huge success.

« I hope to plant little seeds in Kaleb’s life, to show him something different, bringing him a breath of fresh air and a sense of well-being and helping him to make decisions in his life. It’s so important to support each other. »

– Camille Champeval, Grande Amie de Kaleb (12) for five years.

« I have a passion for food because, through it, you can travel and get to know people. By sharing this passion with young people, we can learn about them as they share the culture and food of their country of origin. Cooking brings people closer together. »

– Louise Leduc, volunteer cook and coordinator of a youth cooking activity at the Côte-des-Neiges Centre.

« My team and I are naturally involved in the Guignolée Dr Julien. We want to give back to our community because it makes us feel good; we feel like we are in the right place at the right time. It makes you happy to participate in something simple, but actually really big. »

– Éric Parent, Manager, Caisse Desjardins Angus
